Opportunity Bank Paid Out EUR 64 Million in Loans

The bank has more than 500 active clients in Belgrade alone and half of this portfolio pertains to micro business loans up to EUR 10,000.

In the past 2.5 years Opportunity Bank Serbia has granted 780 start-up credits worth EUR 5.2 million. Since its founding day, Opportunity Bank has paid out more than EUR 64 million in loans to businessmen, small and medium-sized companies and farmers, of which amount around 40 percent has been paid out in the past year alone.

Since it started operating in 2002, Opportunity Bank has made possible the opening of 5,000 new work places and the sustenance of 40,000 work places in Serbia, while it has made possible the creation of 1,500 and the sustenance of 10,000 existing work places in the past year.
